They got divorced, and she later became the backup singer for Leonard Cohen, appearing on two of his albums, {"I'm Your Man" (1988), and "The Future" (1992)}, and toured with him in concerts. She worked as a studio backing vocalist on several artists albums, and began releasing her own solo albums beginning in 1996. She married her third, and current husband "John Diehl" in 1992. Her band was eventually named "Stone Cupid", after her song, about a statue she saw, when she felt she had been stood up, while waiting for someone. In 2003-2006 she took part in the Leonard tribute tour "Came So Far For Beauty: An Evening Of Leonard Cohen Songs", which was documented in the film "Leonard Cohen: I'm Your man", besides appearing in the film, she also appears on its soundtrack.
