LONNIE BURR, author of TWO FOR THE SHOW: Great Comedy Teams*, was born in Dayton, KY in 1943. At five (1948) he became a professional actor/singer/dancer in live performance, radio, TV, films, Theatre including Broadway, nightclubs and even once in a circus. He became famous as Mouseketeer Lonnie, 1 of 4 boys (of 39 kids) who starred on the original MICKEY MOUSE CLUB (1955-59) which also hit 18+ countries, today still rerunning since the '80s in Russia, and was translated into 5 langugages. In the U.S. the show reran in every decade since, last 1995-2002 on "Vault Disney" the Disney Channel and prompted two update series.

Lonnie's 60+ years career as an actor, choreographer/dancer, singer and 40 year career as an author - books, plays, poetry, newspapers (own column)-magazines-ezines: essays, humor, film & theatre criticism, star bios, etcetera leaves him a member of acting unions SAG, AEA, AFTRA, AGVA and writing unions Authors Guild, Dramatists Guild and WGAw Emeritus.
