In 1945 Harvey G. Fields published this book. At the time he was chairman of the Huey Long memorial fund and for every share of stock a person purchased of the fund they would receive a free copy. Fields also sold copies. This book provides a lot of insight into the life of Huey Long and uncovers three plots to kill the Kingfish. Fields was a Louisiana State Senator, State District Attorney, Chairman of the Louisiana Democratic Central Committee, four-time delegate to the Democratic National Committee, Chairman of the Louisiana Public Service Commission and a Law Partner of Huey and Earl Long.
