History of ʼBaʼ-gźuṅ (Ch. Bagou Xiang) a largely Tibetan nomadic area (with Mongolian influence) in what is now called Tongde Xian, Qinghai Province, a.k.a. Amdo or A-mdo; includes religious and administrative history, historical accounts of local monasteries, and tribal and family formations; as well as biographies of historical and contemporary figures.
