Basic equations of engineering science

Basic Equations of Engineering Science is also known by its cover title, Theory and Problems of Basic Equations of Engineering Science and is a part of the Schaum's Outline Series that was started in the 1930s by Daniel Schaum. Both William F. Hughes and Eber W. Gaylord were professors of mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. The book was designed to be a concise compendium of 1,400 basic equations in continuum mechanics that would supplement any text in Fluid Mechanics, Elasticity, Electromagnetic Theory, or Dynamics. This book is now online via the Internet Archive: http://archive.org/details/SchaumsTheoryAndProblemsOfBasicEquationsOfEngineeringScience Part of an Open Library list of Classic Engineering Books http://dld.bz/EngClassicsOL
