This lovely little book depicts one of the most important moments in African American, and therefore American history, while paying tribute to Mrs. Rosa Parks, the mother of the Civil Rights movement. Through delightful metered rhyme and beautiful eye catching illustrations, children and adults of all ages and ethnicities are enlightened, entertained, as well as educated about these dark days in bright sparkling words and images. Originally scheduled for release in 2008, this book was not actually published by Third World Press of Chicago, unti November 2010.
