Bushwhacker

The true story of Bill Wilson, a notorious robber and murderer, who, during the times of the Civil War, was referred to as a "bushwacker". He was born in Phelps county Missouri and grew up along the the Little Piney River in Phelps county. The book tells the tale of Bill Wilson from recollections of blood relatives and then documented by George Clinton Arthur. The book has been reprinted twice, once in 1975 and the last time in 1985. The 1985 edition contains a "final chapter" which is a reprint of an article written by Captain Roy F. Hall and was reprinted in The Examiner at McKinney, Texas and documents what is known of Bill Wilson's final days.
