This is the catalogue of the printed Sanskrit books in the library of the India Office. This library was later called the Indian Office Library and Records (IOLR). Even later the collection was merged into the British Library collections, currently (2015) housed at the British Library building near St Pancras station in London. The British Library now houses both these IOLR books and also the Sanskrit printed books that were formerly in the library of the British Museum.
The quality of the bibliographical descriptions by Natha and Chaudhuri is very high. This is a masterpiece of the cataloguers' art.
