"Chaplin: A Pictorial Tribute to the Little Tramp," is a treasury of nearly 80 photos, never-before-published, which have been taken from nearly 40 films and movie trailers of the great silent movie clown, Charlie Chaplin. This loving tribute, spanning 22 years, begins with Chaplin’s screen debut as a lady-charming swindler in Keystone’s 1914 comedy, “Making a Living,” followed by his first appearance as the Little Tramp in “Kid Auto Races in Venice,” released the same year. The tribute then follows his film work for Keystone, Essanay, Mutual, First National and United Artists, including Tillie’s Punctured Romance,” the first comedy feature, and ending with “Modern Times,”, which marked the final screen appearance of the Little Tramp in 1936. "Chaplin: A Pictorial Tribute to the Little Tramp" is a fitting salute to a comic geniuis whose character’s endearing charm has won audience’s hearts forever.
