High oil prices, and its continued stability at these levels, is encouraging development of Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques. Perhaps more important than the effect of high energy prices on the implementation of EOR techniques is the ability to achieve more hydrocarbon exploitation from proven reserves in a politically stable environment.
