There is also a section about the city where Blanco lives, the ultimate city, New York. In this section, Blanco transforms herself into a series of renowned Nicaraguan poets: Rubén Darío, Salomón de la Selva, José Coronel Urtecho, and Ernesto Cardenal to portray the 20th century, together with Blanco’s own time, her country, and her tradition.
