History of Terlung Monastery (Tib. Gter-lung), located near Labrang Monastery (Tib. Bla-brang) in what is now Xiahe County in Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province, as well as biographies of the successive Tibetan Buddhist Setsang (Tib. Bse-tshang) incarnation lineage, the latest of whom now lives in Hezuo (Tib. Gtsos) in Gannan Prefecture. The third Bse-tshang rinpoche was an important teacher in Mongolia and influential in the Qing Court.
