Diwan 7

English Description : The Diwan 7 : « Madjmohati – المجموعة » app is the seventh and last part of a series of 7 books representing the 7 diiwaans collected by S. Mamadou Diagne, former curator of the Khadim Rassoul library of Touba (Daaray Kaamil). A “diiwaan” is a collection of poems called qasidas (series of books of poems organized by themes, subjects, or contents). The Diwan-7 or “Madjmohati “gathers a collection of Qasidas (poems) written by Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké, Khadimu Rasul, founder of the Muridiyya. These qasidas are written answers to questions asked by certain disciples of the Shaykh, they are mostly guidance and recommandations to disciples. It also includes poems and testimonies of other dignitaries to the Shaykh.

Mamadou Diagne, ancien conservateur de la bibliothèque Khadim Rassoul de Touba . Un diiwaan constitue un recueil (rassemblement) de poèmes (khassaides). Le Diwan 7 : « Madjmohati – المجموعة » recueille une collection de khassaides (poèmes) de Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké, Khadimou Rassoul, le fondateur du mouridisme ; ainsi que des lettres de correspondances du Cheikh adressées à des disciples, constituant des réponses et recommandations ; et aussi des poèmes adréssés au Cheikh par des dignitaires étrangers.
