A testimonial reconstruction by Federico Galende Pellegrini (Rosario, 1965) about the relationship between art and politics through dialogues with artists, in what could be considered a critical dictionary of Chilean art covering the entire second half of the 20th century: from the Informalism and its hegemony during the seventies, to the tensions of an "ephemeral" and object art. From the emergence of the Advanced Scene in the early eighties in the dark era of dictatorial resistance, towards performance, the emergence of the new wave, the return to painting, the permanence of engraving and the new critical and heterogeneous scene of the first years of transition, whose voices and practices continue until today.
