A kind of a literary road movie about a theft from the royal Swedish treasure chamber in the castle of Gripsholm (The Wasa-kings) of a young Norwegian nobleman, son of an admiral of the sea, trying to escape justice by travelling through Europe in a whole year, but the nobleman was finally caught and executed in Colone, Germany. Based on a true story and after a seven year long reseach in various European state archives. New evidence shows, that the king Johan 3, his employer, in fact owed him too much of a salary and too, had disposed of a lot of the nobleman's own valuables,so we now know for sure that this was the veru true reason for stealing the royal valuables and then with a certain right.
