From murder to forgiveness

Presents the memoir of Azim Khamisa who lost his son to senseless violence and, rather than lose himself in grief or turn to vengeance, committed himself to teaching nonviolence to children and communities. Azim comes to terms with the murder, befriends the shooter's grandfather, and forgives the boy who shot his son--becoming one of his only visitors in prison.
