This interactive book lets kids make their own monsters and is tons of fun. Children flip pages to assemble monsters from different heads, bodies and tails. Each flip page also has accompanying language, so when you put all three monster parts together you might get, "This nasty nuisance - likes lots of homework and - can't keep a secret."
Sal Murdocca's pictures are also engaging, surprising and funny - one bumblebee-ish monster wears high tops, another has a plug for a head and table lamp for a tail, one is made out of pipes... and other things. Fun for any age.
