This book describes the early days of Rock 'n' Roll in the small North Worcestershire town of Kidderminster and how groups were formed by the influence of American music.
It describes the local music scene of the time around the pubs and dance halls of the area and how bands emerged who eventually became famous around the world, including Led Zeppelin. Both Robert Plant and John Bonham came from Kidderminster. There were many other musicians who also had a share of success, such as Stan Webb, Christine Perfect and Andy Silvester from Chicken Shack and Roger Lavern of the Tornados.
