Ghurūb-i Ṣādiq

One of the main players close to Ayatollah Khomeini during the 1978 revolution of Iran, served as Iran's foreign minister during the hostage crisis following the Islamic revolution, he was executed in 1982 for allegedly plotting the assassination of Ayatollah Khomeini and the overthrow of the Islamic Republic.
