The exhibition focuses on the images he made that celebrated the technological and industrial marvels that demonstrated national progress and prosperity. His subjects included: the urban scene, bridges, power stations, railways, skyscrapers, and industrial sites, all of which he referred to as "Picturesque Wonders."
