Comparative iconographic study of the image of the Maya god Chaac, selected from diverse regions of the Maya territory. The book comprises descriptions of the stylized representations of the serpent, the human face and body and the attires of Chaac. The book also analyzes the nature of the features and figurative motifs that characterize it as well as the consistent presence of 4 signs. The author concludes that there are enough iconographic arguments to link the images of Pre-Columbian 3 water/rain deities Tlaloc (Nahuatl), Chaac (Maya) and Cocijo (Zapoteco).
