Reviews content and context of modern and avant-garde literary magazines in Mexico, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay of 1920s (through mid-1930s). Introductory essay refers to individual and collective authorship in such works. Contributors analyze topics such as Spanish poetry journal Índice (1921-22), visual poetry of "Ultra" movement, and trends such as nationalism, cosmopolitism and Americanism in various journals of Europe and Americas.
