This fascinating edited collection of the preserved correspondence of Leonard Bronk offers a glimpse into the lives of the people from Coxsackie and Catskill who aligned themselves with the cause of Independence during the American Revolution. Prepared by Raymond Beecher and the Greene County Historical Society in advance of the National Bicentennial, this archival hardcover remains the most useful anthology of transcribed primary sources about the Revolution in Greene County, and is the only such publication ever prepared from the vast Bronck Family Manuscripts Collection in the Society’s care.
