Lippincott fast facts for NCLEX-RN
Rebecca A. Cox-Davenport
Lippincott Fast Facts for NCLEX-RN, 2nd edition is designed as a quick and easy review for nursing students to use when preparing for the licensing examination. With thousands of facts, the book covers all aspects of nursing care. Each up-to-date fact has been thoroughly reviewed by experts in NCLEX preparation for validity and to ensure the content areas most likely to be covered on the test are represented. Each fact has been worded concisely for easy recall and recollection while taking the actual exam. A small open box precedes each fact, which the student can use to "check off" those facts that he or she has mastered. The content is divided into seven broad parts: management of care, client safety, adult care (medical-surgical and gerontology), maternal-neonatal care, pediatric care, psychiatric care, and pharmacology. Each major section ends with a group of NCLEX-style questions labeled as "Misconceptions" in PassPoint RN and tied to topics covered in the section for review and practice. Additionally, bullets associated with Misconceptions in the PassPoint RN database will be called out with a bull's-eye icon for special emphasis. Appendices cover information about the NCLEX, test-taking strategies, and an Answer Key with rationales for the questions covered in the text.
