The Amazonian peoples maintain a constant interaction with their biodiverse world; where myths, fables and legends are intertwined with reality. Today, however, the new generations show little interest in preserving their traditions. This is what the book of Ucayalina artist (born in Roroboya), Lastenia Canayo and historian Carmen del Aguila, tries to prevent: a publication that highlights the rescue of the history of the Amazon through their art and worldview.
