This is a PhD thesis. Numerical model of exhaust flow using a straight duct model with a source for the engine at one end, and various conditions at the open end.

Describes a range of models for the exit boundary and focuses on the Sommerfeld condition for the far field boundary.

Gives various grid models, L, T and rectangular grids.

The CFD uses a finite volume integration of the flow equations.
