Audio Adventure Pokey Pac-Man Run For Fun

This is a audio, and read along book, it is presented by Pac-Man {the introduction}, and the story by a narrator. The book begins with a reinterpretation of the Pac-Man arcade game theme music. {This version of the music seems to have been first released on the "Pac-Man: The Album" from 1980, also by Kid Stuff. The story was accompanied by black and white illustrations, of the story. The book either came with a 7" vinyl record KSR-995, or a cassette tape KSC-88995, while the book has the record's number on it, wether it came with the tape or not. The book tape and record also have the copyright year listed as 1980. Side One; The book begins with the voice of Pac-Man telling the reader about how to read along, with the narrator, and when to turn the page. The rest of the book, is read by the narrator. Side A; The story begins with the narrator explaining that the city of Pacville is holding the "Run For Fun race competetion, and that Pac-Man, and Speedy the ghost are going to be among. The ghost then begin to plans a way to cheat, so that Speedy can win the race. As the race begins, Pac-Man rushes off, Speedy rests under a tree, while the other ghost change road signs, make a trap, and put glue along the race path. Side Two; Speedy ends up getting caught be each of the traps, and with the help of Pokey and a helicopter, he gets almost to the finish line before getting stuck in the glue. Pac-Man jumps over him and wins the race. After recieving his trophy cup of fruit Pac-Man can be seen being chased by the ghosts, once again. The book ends with the morals of "always play fair, and tips to "run for your health".

Other then the ghosts, and Pac-Man, the people in this book are depected as being humans, and yet they are still called "Pac-People". The entire story is about 7 mintes, and 30 seconds in length. The audio cassette tape version originally came on a cardboard backing, which also folded around the tape and into the book, it was sealed with plastic wrap.
