Fictional account to restore the pioneering life of Sohyŏn Sejabin Kang (Minhŭibin) and prince Sohyŏn who were taken as political hostages after the Manchu Invasions. They learned to farm and trade taking advantage of new cultural exposures during their exile, but faced tragic deaths after their return in conflict with their father Injo's reign.
