Kennedy Center and Xerox Corporation present the American Bicentennial Theatre Production, Anthony Quayle in "Rip Van Winkle," adapted by Joshua Logan and Ralph Allen from Washington Irving's story and from plays attributed to John Kerr, Charles Burke and Dion Boucicault, with Annie McGreevey and Bernerd Engel, and Jay Doyle, Richard Galuppi, Michael Petro, Deborah Fezelle, Ronald Venable, David Fox-Brenton, Maria Wozniak, Andrea McHenry, Fred Van Winkle, directed by Joshua Logan, scenery designed by Robert Cothran, costumes designed by Marianne Custer, lighting designed by David F. Segal, traditional airs adapted by Trude Rittmann, musical supervision by Susan Romann, produced for the Kennedy Center by Roger L. Stevens and Richmond Crinkley, a presentation of the Clarence Brown Company at the University of Tennessee, Ralph Allen and Julian Forrester, producers.
