The exhibition comprises Brazilian Baroque icons created by popular artists and scholars such as Frei Agostinho de Jesus, Mestre de Piranga, Francisco Vieira Servas and Antônio Francisco Lisboa "Aleijadinho". The works are all dated from the 18th and 19th centuries and belong to private collections. "The saints of this exhibition were Catholic men and women recognized for their exemplary conduct, and worthy of eternal devotion."
