"A cobalt/manganese occurrence in Clark County, Nevada was the subject of a site-specific mineral investigation...in 1988-1990. The study site is in the northern part of the Million Hills (wilderness) study area which is administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Field work during a period of one week consisted of geological mapping and sampling of workings and outcrops, and geochemical and geophysical surveys conducted on four transects totaling 7,600 ft."--Leaf 5.
