Emerging in England in the late 1960s the Skinhead's with their shaven heads, Doc Marten boots and thin braces longed for aggro. Football matches, pubs, dance halls and open-air pop concerts all gave them chances to vent their sadistic violence. They were the birth of the football gangs/firms which now appear worldwide, which led to violence at football matches becoming known as the 'English Disease'.
