Record Read Along Speedy

This is a audio, and read along book, the story is read by a narrator. The book begins with a reinterpretation of the Pac-Man arcade game theme music. {This version of the music seems to have been first released on the "Pac-Man: The Album" from 1980, also by Kid Stuff Records. The story was accompanied by black and white illustrations, of the story. The book either came with a 7" vinyl record KSR-617, or a cassette tape KSC-88617, while the book has the record's number on it, wether it came with the tape or not. The book tape and record also have the copyright year listed as 1983. Side One. The story begins with a explanation that the city of Pacville is arraging a "Sunflower Day Parade", and they will be honoring Super Pac-Man, for his many accomplishments in saving the citezens lives. It then mentions two times he saved the citizens, once from a mud slide, and the second from a lion. The ghosts Shadow, Bashful, Speedy, Pokey, after being defeated by Pac-Man, were being forced to clean up the city. With the help of "Bad Waetherman", they plan to ruin the parade with rain. Side Two, Pac-Man then learns about this from Hugo, Bad's assistant. Pac-Man builds a giant fan, to blows away the rain cloads. As he does this the Ghost brag, and tease the people of the city about their plan, and ride around in their "Ghostmobile". They then buy a pool, at a local store, and bring it to their 'hideout' on Mount Pac. But as they have their pool party, Pac-Man turns on his fan and it rains on the ghosts. The parade is then saved, and Pac-Man is seen riding along in a car, waving at the people of the city, {none of them look like him, they are human}. The book does not have a ISBN, but instead it had UPC 043948061733. The entire story is about 8 mintes, and 30 seconds in length.

This book is part of the Kid Stuff Records/Golden Books video game audio stories series.
