The Drama of Prince Arjun by Syed Mehdi Imam (M.A. Oxon), is a revaluation of the central themes of the Bhagavad Gita, a religious Hindu text. An important part of the story of Prince Arjun is presented here in dramatic form, consisting of One Act and eighteen scenes. These cover the 18 chapters of the Gita. The author has, with great dexterity, replaced the battle of Kurukshetra by scenes from World War II. The prose is in the heightened language of poetry rising to inexpressible beauty and majesty, showing the authors full command of the English language - his adopted mother tongue.
