History Excavations (Archaeology) Cultural Diversity
This published Master's thesis explores the historical uses of four of the residential yard spaces of the southeastern row house of Fort Michilimackinac during the French and British occupations. As part of the study, the cultural diversity of the associated residents is explored and areas of significant cultural activities within the yards are mapped. Finally, the classification system of colonial artifacts is critically examined to determine which, if any, of Stanley South's historical patterns fit the fort's occupations.
