The high and the low deserts and the Plainview years

This autobiography was written by my great grandmother (1896-1980). She was born in Michigan and moved out west to Oregon in the early 1900s. Each chapter is dated and tells about the adventures of pioneering, starting with that golden stake pounded down when railroads connected the east to the west.
