The lights of man

The Lights of Man : the philosophical lyric poetry (2021), is a collection of poems by the Romanian writer, poet and philosopher Dumitru Găleșanu, originally written and published in Romanian, under the title Luminile omului: lirica filosofică (2020). This edition is an English translation by Andreea Moise. A major work by a poet-philosopher with an authentic and irrepressible metaphysical vocation, The Lights of Man combines the terms of concrete existential reality with the poetic imaginal and the abstract-philosophical concept, creating a profound spiritual vision of the condition and role of man in the universe and in contemporary society.
