Biography; The name comes from the author as she sat in a deck chair and watched the wake of her ship on a journey to Cape Town, South Africa. "The turquoise blue of the path fairly hypnotized her, and she says, 'I recalled that my father once said that everything which passed through his mind seemed to take on color for him....'" (from the back cover). The book is about the author's father, F. C. McConnell, prominent Baptist preacher and educator.
