Una mirada a Tochikahuallis

"In the London Cartonera Book Festival four workshops were given to assemble cartoneros books and on Wednesday, September 18 (2019), it was up to us to give the workshop Cartoneras for sustainable communities - Cartoneras por las comunidades sustentablesʺ. In this workshop the participants had the opportunity to manufacture copies of the book Una mirada a Tochikahuallis. Nuestra fortaleza.ʺ This book comprises some of the testimonies that we have been collecting this year with the inhabitants of the community of Xoxocotla, Morelos who participate in the Integral Reconstruction project, led by the Centro Cultural Yankuik Kuikamatilistli. In this community, which suffered significant damage during the earthquake of September 19, 2017, the inhabitants managed to organize to rebuild, collectively, the houses that were destroyed.
