Instead of using expensive and disruptive methods for the prediction of origin-destination matrices, also called as traditional methods of O-D estimation, there are more simple and less data-intensive methods based on traffic flow volumes. This book consists of a list and description of the methods available, their uses, strenghts and weakenesses.
