We Are here, brings together artistic works created over the past twenty years, photos from the artist's personal collection, and an autobiographical text about the Love between Aurand and her partner Jón Sigurgeirsson (1909-2003), between Iceland and Berlin. It is an intimate and equally universal work about the simultaneity of all things and about how ostensible boundaries and borders dissolve when we encounter timeless beauty.
